In 2010, we extended our product range to include stripe and jacket compounds for extruded pressure pipe.
We are excited about the opportunity to apply our compounding expertise to serving this market.
Microtuff stripe and jacket compounds are currently being manufactured at our factories in Gosford, NSW and Caboolture, QLD.

Stripe and Jacket for PE100 pipe
Microtuff stripe and jacket compounds are available in a range of standard colours. All compounds are based on polyethylene base resins suitable for use in PE100 pressure pipe as required for AS4130 compliance.
AS/NZS4130 compliant and POP004 listed
A wide range of our compounds comply with all requirements for stripe and jacket specified in AS/NZS4130 and has also been verified as compliant by PIPA who have included them in their POP004 approved compounds list.

UV stabilised
Microtuff stripe and jacket compounds contain HALS light stabilisers as per the AS/NZS 4130 requirement to ensure UV protection during transport and storage above ground. We can also supply a highly UV stabilised white jacket compound specifically formulated for long term aboveground applications. Please contact your Price Plastics representative for more information.

Our standard colour range is built around the AS/NZS4130 requirements for stripe and jacket on pipes used in Australia. For compound intended for use in stripe/jacket in New Zealand and for custom colours, please contact your Price Plastics representative to discuss your requirements.
